Janelle Denison finds it hard to believe that it’s been nearly 20 years since she first started writing romance novels. At first, it was a way to pass idle time while her husband worked swing shift, but before long it became an obsession to get published. Luckily, she kept at it (it took her over 5 years to get that first book published!) and is now a Waldenbooks, Barnes & Noble, and USA Today Bestselling author! Just a quick drop by very pretty book mark. I had surgrey yesterday had my gallbladder removed not feeling to great, but wanted to stop by.

I hope you feel better soon. If they did it the easy way (laproscopic) you will be surprised in how soon you will be feeling better. I couldn’t believe it after mine. Just don’t try and lift anything heavy!! Listen when they tell you that! but play it up for all you can get at home while recuperating- it won’t last long!

Hope you feel better soon! I had that done six years ago. Watch the spiciness or fat content of the foods you eat for a couple of months, til you see how your stomach handles food.

that’s so beautiful!!!! Michele, feel better…my mom had that surgery (the real surgery) last summer. My only advice to you is to rest and don’t push yourself in the coming weeks (yes, I yelled…not yelled, but got angry) at my mom for pushing herself when she shouldn’t have (and she hurt the next few days). Hugs to everyone!

The weather here has finally improved. The last two months were so hot I paid $870 bucks just in light(we pay bi-monthly) OUCH!!! Bring on the cold weather…please :snowguy:

Brighton is great! I keep the key chain you guys gave me on the arm of a little stuffed NYPD bear on my desk. And I look at the charms on it often–style, create, believe, dream, soul…
It’s 17 here at the house. Yesterday we had a high of about 10 with some light snow. :walksnowman:

Janelle….thought of you while at the store the other day…they had these leopard print panties I picked them up and Amber , Autumn and I all said Janelle at the same time….course that only had me bent over laughing so hard I about peed my pants because lets face it…as much as I love you I don’t want to be looking at Panties and thinking about you…ROLMFAO…course…Amber and Autumn were in the same boat so it was even funnier…didn’t buy them….but was telling hubby the story later and he wasn’t laughing…turns out the guy had gone to fashion bug and got me a leopard print nightie set for our anniversary this month….needless to say he handed over the receipt and the nightie so I could go exchange for a different pattern. Finally going tonight to do it while the girls are Christmas Caroling downtown in the shopping distric for school. lol

BTW…. he only bought it because he figured it was my size…not because he really liked it or not…Not sure whether I should have been offended or not…opted for not because it was an extra gift… he had already gone out a couple months ago and got me an early anniversary gift…the wedding band he promised me when we got married that I’ve been sitting with my hands on my ass waiting for. (It was worth the wait)..another good laugh though…..exactly one week after getting it from him…I won a 1,000.00 diamond ring from the jewelry store in town….for donating food to the Salvation Army Pantry daily for a month…and getting friends to do it too…so in giving …I received…lol. (BTW…it’s a little umm…too…ostentacious? Gaudy? (other words for uglyish) for my simple tastes…but I’m sure I can sell it someday…lol

What a beautiful bookmark. It’s never possible to have too many bookmarks – I don’t know how many bookmarks I currently have but its a fair number and I still have problems finding one when I need it.
However, I doubt that a bookmark like this one would survive being posted to NZ, so count me out. Whoever wins it will be very lucky.
