Shopping, how fun! No Black Friday shopping for me! I can’t think of anything I want or need bad enough to be shopping at 4 or 5 am in the morning!! Maybe it is just a part of getting older!!
Half my Christmas shopping is done & the other half will be easy. I do enjoy seeing things all lit up for Christmas, the decorations are always fun to see the first couple of times, after that I get tired of all the commercial hype. All that said I do love the Christmas season. Whoops! Didn’t mean to get carried away.
I am about to go have my favorite day after Thanksgiving breakfast, pumpkin pie with whip cream & a cup of good coffee. Yummy, Yummy!! I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday, enjoy the rest of the weekend.

I stayed inside all day and worked on my blog. No shopping here. My MIL went out at 5 am to look for the Zhu Zhu pet my daughter asked Santa for but to no avail. Since I live in the crazy driving capitol of the world I decided to avoid shopping this whole weekend. I actually overslept my normal get up time and woke to a dog kiss asking for breakfast. After my leisurely start, I still enjoyed Black Friday shopping but missed the crowds. People everywhere was great with smiles everywhere. Very nice start to the weekend.

I didn’t go out…..worked Wed night, cooked all morning on Thursday, ate, had a glass of wine and finally crashed around 10 pm!! LOL!! Then I actually got to sleep in, at least until the cats started meowing…All 5 of them!!!!! They wanted their food and they wanted it THAT second! LOL!!!!!

ugh… slept over my mom’s with my sister’s….if you call one hour sleeping….then off to the stores at 3am…. It was nuts….we shopped for 9 hours. It was crazy….was in line at Walmart 1 hour….who said it was better this year wasn’t at our local walmart…. and all this for 2 dollar dvds and 3 dollar kids pjs…yes…I’m nuts…lol

The Black Friday here was fairly quiet unless you got up at the crack of dawn. I went into Staples at 7:30 and it was practically deserted.
