My biggest fear was almost realized a couple of years ago when Nashville almost lost its hockey team. The team was about to go to a horrible, terrible, no-good, very bad man in Canada when a local group stepped up to the plate and purchased them... this is where the clouds part and angels sing..... It was a heartwrenching time for the fans of the Nashville Predators but incredible to be a part of the rallies that helped keep them in town. I’m a little late – but I still want to share. As for my sports fear, it would be that they stopped showing televised coverage of the V8 Supercars Bathurst Race. Its the only race of the year that I deliberately make time to watch. I love my motorsports but as most of the coverage is on Sunday afternoons here, often I don't get to watch it. Otherwise it would be that rugby would stop being shown - NZ is a rugby mad nation and I would not want to listen to the bellyaching that would come from most males and even some females if that happened.
