You know you want it…
Julie Icon

…you know you do. Two sexy men. One a Giant. One a Wolf. Two unique heroines. One a former fairygodmother, the other a princess who has no idea she’s been raised in the wrong world. You don’t have to like paranormal romances to love this book, because the magic here is what happens between the sheets, not because of wands.

It’s time, Jungle fans, to get out there and buy your copy of MORE BLAZING BEDTIME STORIES!

And if you haven’t checked out this cool feature from eHarlequin…please do! It allows you to read the full first chapter of both of our stories. You can even order the book from eHarlequin if you’d like. Go on, check it out. But then come back…because we’ll miss you.

See? Cool or what?

I suppose I could be shy and subtle about this, but that takes more energy than I have. The fact of the matter is that Leslie and I are THRILLED to have been able to work on a book together and we think it ROCKS. It’s CONTEMPORARY romance. Fun and sexy contemporary romance where we’ve taken the fairytales of Jack and the Beanstalk and the Princess and the Pea and turned them on their ears.

I saw the book at my Publix yesterday and even after releasing over thirty novels, I still squealed with excitement. One thing I adore about writing for Harlequin is that the books are everywhere. Walmart, check. Grocery stores, check. Bookstores, check. Online, check. Ebooks, check. Check, check, check. There just aren’t many excuses for not buying a Harlequin. Oh, well…there is the $$ issue. But hey, it’s a full length novel for only $4.99! CHECK!

Seriously, we’re really excited about this book and I’d love to answer any questions you might want to have about it. Or if you’ve already read it, feel free to say what you thought. But if you like SEXY contemporary romances with a fantasy feel, this is the book for you!

Julie Leto

JulieBy all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

Awesome Julie! And feel free to brag away – it sounds like an amazing book. I’ll be looking for it next time I’m in the bookstore. Or grocery store. Or Walgreen’s LOL.

I can’t wait for the day ALL the Plotmonkeys have a book together.

We can’t either, Stacy! One day…we’ve talked about it a bunch of times, but haven’t been able to get the moon and stars to align quite right yet!

My copy is “in the mail.” Literally. Hopefully, it’s arriving today. Or tomorrow. Definitely putting it at the top of the TBR pile! I’m also feeling good enough to head out for a few errands. WalMart and the grocery store are on the list. If the book is there, I’ll snap with the iPhone and twitter the pics!

I hope it arrives, Silver! I always order one copy from Amazon to see when a book ships and mine arrived last week. I hope you get pictures! I should have thought to take one yesterday, but I haven’t figured out how to Twitter pictures from my iPhone yet.

Which ap do you have? I have Tweet deck and it’s easy. When I go to make a tweet, there’s a little camera icon. I click on it. It sets up just like the iPhone camera, takes you through the steps, you can use it or discard it and take another until you get a shot you like, and it automatically links for you. Trust me, if I can figure it out, it’s easy peasy! :D

Bought–and read! Thoroughly enjoyed both stories — definitely a fun romp! Loved the modern take on the old fairy tales. :-)

I won a copy of this book last month and I LOVED it! In fact, I read it just 2 days because it was such a great read. The modern twist on fairy tales was really unique and well done.

Ardie, do you mean Janelle’s series? She has a new series coming out. No Wildes, but a brand new concept that is super fantabulous…like the Wildes, but BETTER. IMO!

That’s okay…I figured you asked because you knew I’d be the one who replied today. But if you want to go back to bed, I’m not going to stop you. It’s a gray, overcast day here and I’m fighting the urge myself. :coffee:

We’ve been on book withdrawl here in our house because we’ve had to tighten our budget. But, what luck we found a gift card to Borders the other day that my M-I-L gave my husband back in June for his B-day. We had forgotten all about it. Yay! I can buy the book! And also Carly’s latest release! Woo Hoo! Can’t wait to read them both.

BTW, I’m a total dork wad and brainless twit when it comes to “twisting” fairy tales. Julie, could you share your “twisting” process when you decided to write this book?

We have a major snow storm pounding Colorado right now. We are supposed to get a foot plus of snow. I love the snow so I’m smiling. I especially love the way everything looks after the storm passes, particularly the mountains with the bright blue sky above, sun glistening on the snow. :cloud9:

    Have a great day,

    Cher :snowing:

Congrats, Julie and Leslie!!! :cooldance: I wish you both the best on your sales!

I still need to pick up my copy at EHQN. I have been working so hard on my WIP that I have not had much time to read. :posting: Sad I know, but by the end of Nov. I should have a completed MS. :bananaangel: NANO style. After it is polished and ready I am gunning to submit to the HQN Blaze line.

But I will get to it, I promise!!!
Oh, I wanted to ask if any of the plot monkeys will be at the writerspace chat bash tonight? That would be fun!!!

Since losing my job my books budget is also very tight these days.

I got your new bedtime stories blaze for 3.47 in walmart. Two of my favorite

authors and the right price too! I actually haven’t bought a book by anyone who

is not on my favorite top twenty author list yet this year. I am however

making a huge book list for Christmas. I want everyone in the family to know

exactly what titles I really would like to have. Crossing Fingers and hoping! :snoopy:
