LeslieLeslie Kelly used to say she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up, but then she discovered Nancy Drew books. Being a flashlight-under-the-covers-nose-in-book reader throughout her childhood, she couldn’t think of anything else she’d rather do as an adult than continue to lose herself in fictional stories. Her real life marriage of 20 years to the man of her dreams is a constant reinforcement that happily-ever-afters really can happen…and that they’re worth writing about. Living in Maryland, Leslie spends her non-writing time laughing a lot with the above-mentioned romance hero and their three daughters. Though an author of more than thirty sexy, contemporary comedies, she has recently branched out to write dark romantic suspense under the pseudonym Leslie Parrish.

    My husband sent me that one the other day. Too funny! :happy: :happy:

    Lilly’s birthday is today and her party is at noon. Yesterday my next door neighbor got married. She is 8 months pregnant. I had no idea there was such a thing as a maternity wedding dress. Very nice wedding. Friday and Saturday were a bit of a scramble getting all the last minute details ironed out.She had wanted to have it outdoors so of course Friday was a gorgeous fall day and Saturday we woke up to 23 degrees and snow. Welcome to Colorado. :giggler:

    BTW, the girl that got married yesterday lost her mother to breast cancer last February. So, if you haven’t made your appointment for a mammogram–WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!

      :candles: Happy Birthday to Lilly! What a pretty name. :D

      My Mother in Law just finished her last radiation treatment last Thursday for her breast cancer and will continue with her Herceptin treatments every three weeks for a year. She has already completed two. She is doing good especially considering she is 80 years old. (Yeah my husband is 17 years older than me)
