JulieBy all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

    Congrats Anna and Michelle, I hope that you both enjoy your prizes. Jules, how did you do that? That was funny. I couldn’t believe the audacity of the man when I heard about what he did to….OMG, her name just slipped my mind. I know it will hit me after I post my response. You know what I haven’t heard anything about Beyonce’s reaction to that. Maybe I need to do some research on it.

    I thought the whole thing was just awful. I felt so sorry for Taylor Swift, who is about the age of my daughters, and looked just shocked. Just wanted to slap that man.

    Paula-Beyonce’s response was tres classy. When she won later in the night, she called Taylor Swift up and gave over her “acceptance speech” time so Taylor could finish hers!

    I love Taylor Swift and couldn’t believe what Kanye did. Although, it didn’t surprise me so much because he’s done something similar at an award show before.
