I’m spending the day getting ready to leave for the RWA conference in DC (can’t wait to see my Plotmonkey pals! 
). Since it takes a good 8 hours to get to DC from Oregon, I’m taking a red-eye flight out tonight at 10:30 so I can be there by morning and not waste a day flying! 
It sounded like a good idea at the time, and as long as I can sleep on the flight I’ll be fine.
