Julie, the cakes look to-die-for…my mouth is watering…

I’m partial to German Chocolate and Carrot Cake myself…. I could eat the whole thing in one sitting. And of course carrot cake is good for you because of the veggies…so it’s appropriate any time of the day

Gorgeous pictures all around. The cakes look fabulously yummy, the bride is beautiful, and the groom is handsome. Thank you for sharing.

As for my favorite flavor of cake, I’m a bit torn. The only chocolate cake I really like is the three-hole chocolate cake my dad makes without milk or eggs. It’s super moist and so yummy. Other than that, my favorite would be lemon cake.

Thanks for sharing pictures, Julie! The cakes you made looked great! I’m not too picky about my cakes. (I’ve got a huge sweet tooth.) I do however, prefer buttercream frosting – yum!

Has anyone here tried a Jello cake?
They are to die for and easy too.
You take one box yellow cake mix and follow directions for mixing
Next add 1/3 cup extra oil (on top of what the box mix asks for)
1 extra egg (in addition to box instructions)
and 1 small box jello gelatine (any flavor you like)
I like the strawberry banana myself.
Bake to box instructions and WAA LAA Jello cake!
NO icing is required!
YUMMY!

Mmmm, those cakes look yummy. And what a beautiful bride and groom! As to my favorites, I’m torn between chocolate cake with chocolate icing, and white cake with chocolate icing. And don’t forget chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Actually, I’ve never met a cake I didn’t like.

Happy Anniversary, Carly! So sorry the two of you are basically out of commission. My husband had a herniated disk a few years ago. It was scary!! I don’t ever want to see him in that much pain again. Hugs to you both.

Julie, the cakes are beautiful and your brother and his wife make a gorgeous couple. When I could eat cake, my favorite was carrot cake. I still drool everytime I see one. Oh, the cream cheese frosting and those cute little frosting carrots on top…Mmmmm…
