I’m excited about this story and the fact that you guys can catch up with the Corwins again!
I figured I’d use today to catch you up in general. I was in Turks and Caicos last weekend for a destination wedding and it really was the vacation of a lifetime. No “Carly” flying adventures, some rain, but lots of fun! The sun came out when it counted and the wedding was spectacular. We stayed in Bruce Willis’ guest house (can’t get much better than that!) unless it’s Bruce Willis’ main house, which was where our friends stayed right next door. Basically the entire strip of beach and houses was all wedding party, friends and family. Spectacular! 
We had our own personal butler for the weekend. If we blinked, he was there to help. I’ve never been so impressed. And I heard Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones were on the island. Friends of ours saw them. Our butler told us after we left a restaurant that they’d been sitting behind me, but trust me I had already looked around for someone famous. I can’t believe that if they were there, I didn’t notice them!
The fur kids are doing well. Bailey is now not only over two years old but she’s been with us for two years. She’s come a long way and I’d say she’s JUST beginning to settle in to who she really is. I don’t remember this growth period with Buddy, but I’m happy with how things are now with the dogs.

I went out and bought Lucky Streak the day it came out and am currently reading it. I haven’t had much time to read this week because my daughter and I are getting ready to do to Houston and then Galveston, TX this weekend and come home on Tuesday. Yeah that’s 11 hours from here.LOL
The destination wedding sounds really nice and the babies are looking cute as usual!

I picked up Lucky Streak over the weekend. It is at the top of my TBR pile right now. Your trip sounds wonderful and I’m so glad y’all didn’t run into any travel problems. Bailey and Buddy are just too cute for words, and I can’t believe that Bailey is already 2 years old.

Carly I went to Barnes and Noble on Tuesday and they didn’t have the book, said it came out on June 1st. I did however find it at Meijer and bought it there instead.

Thanks, all. I spent the day reading galleys for LUCKY BREAK and writing. Buddy didn’t win, sadly, I think it was rigged in favor of a WIN (foster) dog – which makes sense, LOL. Just wish I’d known going in. Rumor has it a WIN dog always wins. I’m okay with that. They deserve the good life! Katie, hope your boy feels better soon and you get ged food! It will be one to remember and one to use to plan your next trip. That one will be pretty hard to beat.
Amazing how much a part of the family our pets become. I love them dearly, but never take them on vacation. 4 dogs, 2 cats and a snake really would be a bit much. Actually the snake would be the easiest. Our older two dogs just don’t like to travel much. As for the cats – forget it. Two cross country moves convinced me cats are not good roadies.
