I am deep in preparation for my future sister-in-law’s bridal tea all day today (and yesterday…and oh, Saturday!) so I’m offering…a book. Actually, more than one book, in most cases. (I know you thought I was going to say tea and trust me, I shopped, but found nothing I liked…) so I’m resorted to a Plotmonkey favorite…

By all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold nearly thirty books to three publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her husband, daughter, spoiled dachshund, enormous guinea pig and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

My in-law had a bridal tea for me as a way to meet their side of the family & it was really nice except they did a game where I had to guess who gave what marriage advice & I’m not great w/remembering names so that was hard. I was sweating–ha ha!

I haven’t heard of a Bridal Tea – I’ll look it up when I’m not supposed to be studying.
Amazon gift cards are fantastic. I finally got around to ordering “Something Wicked” through Borders this week, but often its less hassle (even though it usually costs more) to order off Amazon.
I hope that the bad weather disappears and spring arrives properly for everyone. Winter hasn’t even arrived yet here and I’m already sick of rain.
