So is anyone else as animal crazy as me?

Carly Phillips would like to take 100% credit for all her stories but the truth is, Carly’s strength is writing family, emotion, funky elderly people and animals. She couldn’t plot her way out of a paper bag, which is why she smartly found her plotmonkey pals early on in her writing career. Thanks to their support, Carly is now a NYT Bestselling author of 23 plus novels. Because writing doesn’t keep her busy enough, Carly is also a wife, a mother of one preteen and one teenage daughter, the primary care giver of her soft coated Wheaten terrier and an expert carpool mom.

Aw, what an absolute cutie! Of course I’ll vote for Buddy.
I adore animals, can’t imagine life without them. They bring such joy and love, and playfulness. Who cannot love a creature that gives you unconditional love, well, most of the time anyway LOL. One look into those big eyes and I’m toast.

Don’t tell Silver
but I really just wanted a chance to play with the puppies since I miss mine. LOL Just kidding. Nothing like a 120lb lap puppy!!!
We deal with the Daschund Rescue of NY. both of our babies came through them.
Sow I need to pop over to Penumbra before I get yelled at this morning. Again!!

Buddy is such a cutie and I’ll email my vote right now. I love animals, but don’t have to room for one where I live right now. My first purchase after I get into a bigger place will be a puppy.

I’m voting for buddy–from both my e-mails (ssshhh)! I really want a chihuahua (sp?) but do not know how to house train, so I will be looking for an older one.
Ev & Silver–hope you all have a great time! The memorial is so beautiful, we stop at least every other time we are through OK City.
Have a wonderful Thursday!

Buddy got four votes from our house! He’s so cute!
I have a dachshund as well…she’s beautiful, but incredibly NOT photogenic. She always looks mean in pictures and she’s the sweetest, most submissive dog on the planet. Long and red-haired…like me.

Good luck, Buddy! My vote is in!

Buddy has three votes from my end! (actually 4 if I can figure out my yahoo info) And I don’t think it’s at all weird that we’re voting for a dog to be “Grand Marshall” for a virtual parade…
I sure hope he wins!
Have a great Thursday everyone!

Go Buddy Go!!
Yes I have always been animal crazy so you are not alone! LOL
As a young girl and then as a teenager I loved horses and anything that had to do with them. My parents were poor and buying me a horse wasn’t even an option. But we lived in the country and behind us there were two horses and the owners were never home so I would sneak through the fence and I would ride them bareback…Yeah I know, as an adult and as a mom I can see that that wasn’t one of my more brainer moves but I loved it just the same.
Now I have two dogs Ozzy (My black lab mix) and Princess (My schnauxer/terrier mix) Both rescue dos one from the streets Princess and one who had been dumped at the golf course where my hubby works, Ozzy. We also have my daughters cat Mazzy. And two Ornate Western Box Turtles Elizabeth and Alice. My house seems to attract dogs (All strays) I have never paid for a dog, They always seem to seek us out and at times we have had as many as 4 living under our roof at one time!
So NO, you are not the only one who is abinal crazy! If you are then I KNOW I am and I say “Bring on the stright Jacket cuz I’m a goner!” LOL
GOOD LUCK BUDDY!!!

@Cher: We have Max and Isis. Max is trying to fight my hubby for Alpah Male of the household. Isis keeps him in line. It provides lots of laughter.
