What Carly had to say on Thursday, March 12th, 2009
Almost two years ago, we decided we wanted another dog. Specifically we wanted another soft coated wheaten terrier. Buddy is such a love and we knew he needed a sibling. I searched like crazy because when I want something, I want it NOW. I found a breeder, made contact and arranged to bring our puppy home. Yes, you’ll be hearing from me again about this on May 5, Bailey’s official “Gotcha Day.” But this post isn’t about bringing her home.
This is about wishing her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Technically it was yesterday but so what? We love parties in the jungle!
I can’t remember what life was like before you made it insane … and I wouldn’t want to!

No fur babies for me right now, but I really do want to get a dog. I have to wait a little longer to get some things paid off first. It was 80 here on Tuesday and we have snow and sleet right now. I really am ready for spring.

Awww beautiful dog… Happy Birthday to you.. I adore pets, i have a golden lab, a sheltie, a yorkie, and 2 persian mix cats .. all in the house but the lab. hes my outdoor farm dog..oh and cant forget the 4 rabbits..lol..
throw the 3 girls from 19 to 10 in the mix and chaos rules..haha..

We have 3 cats and a puppy in our house. It makes life interesting to say the least. They can be the love of your life and a pain in the you know what at the same time. I wouldn’t give them up for the world.

Happy Birthday to Bailey!
We have a new addtion to our house as of 3:30 this morning!
SURPRISE doesn’t even come close to describing what I feel. Let me explain,
My daughter Ashley lost her beloved Guinea Pig Frnak a few months ago and was devestated. She is a very sensitive soul. My mother had a friend a few weeks later that had taken in a cat who was despirate to have a home and was told that the cat had been spaded. Perfect situation for my daughter whom we had built an apartment for in the back of our property. No surprises and the cat would be an indoor cat only, never to go outside.
Well like a week ago my daughter is all concerned says Mazzy (the cat) is getting fat. Did I think she should put her on weight control cat food? I told her that when she finished out her current bag of indoor cat chow we would purchase some for her.
Fast forward to last night at 3:30 AM I am sound asleep in my bed and she comes barreling in and say “Mom! Mazzy just had three kittens!” I am up like a shot and out at her place looking and sure enough there in her closet is three little meewing kittens!
BTW, my daughter being the wonderful young lady with the big heart she is has already named them, OREO, PEPPER and KOKO! She says it’s not right to just be called Hey You or come here little kitten! LOL

I want an older already trained Chihuahua, they are good for asthma and allergies, which I am suffering from. But with my hectic schedule and recent health problems, I absolutely can not train a puppy.
My daughter had a hamster and it recently passed away, mshe was devastated.

Yes it will be hard for Miss Ashley to part with them. She is, I’m afraid, like her mom! Sensitive to the core and a real tender heart! LOL
It has been a blessing for herto have the new kittens because she babies Mazzy and spoils her rotten. Now she can spoil the babies and give them to a good home!

OK, I’m adding pets to that. I can’t believe she’s 2!!!! She can’t be 2, you just got her! I went back and read your post again. Is she 2 or was it 2 years ago that you decided to get another Wheaten but she’s actually one 1? Can you tell I’m in denial?

Both, LOL, Alannah. She was two yesterday on March 11. I probably decided I wanted a puppy two years ago and we picked her up on May 5. So does that make you feel any better? NO because TIME FLIES and we are older along with it
