On Wednesday, I gave away copies of WITCHY BUSINESS and STRIPPED. Today, you can not only win those two, but you can also win a signed copy of SOMETHING WICKED, which comes out next month!

Also, the winner receives this beautiful bloodstone heart. The necklace that Josie wears in the book is made of bloodstone and it is heart-shaped, like this stone, which can be used as a paperweight or for a healing massage.

By all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold nearly thirty books to three publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her husband, daughter, spoiled dachshund, enormous guinea pig and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

Can’t wait to read all of these books and what an awesome prize. I’ll wave in your general direction on Wednesday, Julie, when I land at TPA. Spending a week with friends in Lakeland/Mulberry area. Since I just got my second set of edits back, I hope I have them done so I can actually have a “vacation” while I’m there.

This weekend is youngest’s birthday. We were planning on having a small party with just relatives, but with the main interstate closed, they are stuck on the wrong side of the closure.So, it looks like it is just the five of us (and a HUGE cake!). sigh.

What a great prize. Welcome here in the Northeast with all of the snow that is lining up. :freezin It is cold and going to get colder. Time to put a fire in the fireplace, hope we don’t lose electricity and curl up with a book. Hope that everyone in the Northwest that are dealing with the floods are staying safe and dry. This is an awesome giveaway! I love the books and the bloodstone is fabulous! Here’s to everyone having a great weekend- I am quitting smoking tomorrow so it should be busy for me. I am thinking that staying busy is the best way to kick the habit. Wish me luck!

My great grandmother had a bloodstone ring. Bloodstone is the birthstone for March. The book looks great.

Everyone have a great weekend. Here in my corner of northern California we are enjoying sunshine & temperatures in the mid 60’s. It is lovely after several days of foggy mornings or all day & some drizzly weather on a couple of those days also! However we need rain, lots of rain, just not all at one time please! :rain
