Hello. Thank you for visiting Plotmonkeys on Leslie’s day. We’re sorry, Leslie can’t come to the blog right now. It seems that a new villain decided to take over her next book at the last possible second, and she’s in the middle of massive layering, tweaking, adjusting and revising.
In the meantime, while she’s off doing that, how about checking out her brand new, super-cool website, that features those dark and dangerous books she’s been working on like an insane person for a year?

Leslie Kelly used to say she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up, but then she discovered Nancy Drew books. Being a flashlight-under-the-covers-nose-in-book reader throughout her childhood, she couldn’t think of anything else she’d rather do as an adult than continue to lose herself in fictional stories. Her real life marriage of 20 years to the man of her dreams is a constant reinforcement that happily-ever-afters really can happen…and that they’re worth writing about. Living in Maryland, Leslie spends her non-writing time laughing a lot with the above-mentioned romance hero and their three daughters. Though an author of more than thirty sexy, contemporary comedies, she has recently branched out to write dark romantic suspense under the pseudonym Leslie Parrish.

I checked out the new website when I got the email. It was funny…it was all ‘dark-like’ then I clicked on “Leslie Kelly’ and it was bright! Definitely good (I can’t think of what I am trying to say), but contrast between the two!

By the way, while I was in CA, I got to meet and have lunch with Patricia (who is really nice and funny) and her daughter Lisa who is sweet as can be.
Patricia gave me one of your books I hadn’t read- Naturally Naughty. I had read the companion book Naughty but Nice, but some how missed this. So when I was stuck on the plane with no electronic devices, Pat came to my rescue!! Yeah Pat!! I loved the book and can see why it is one of her favorites.
