I do realize I’ve been less than creative lately on my contests. OK down and out LAZY. It’s hard to get things into the mail, so I default to anything I can send via Internet. Now that I’ve confessed, on to today’s contest!

I ended up grocery shopping at 6.30 in the morning and the supermarket was already getting crowdy by that hour! Crazyness. I’m SO staying away from stores until the Holidays are over.

no post holiday shopping for me, not for a few days. Besides the fact im not in the mood for pre or post holiday anything.. we had ice during the night.. good excuse to stay in today. Christmas was awful. Last thursday my dad had a massive stroke, and my hubby and his unit flew out for Iraq this weekend after lots of plane and weather delays.. so my holiday was spent in hospital rooms and missing everyone and everything ..Dad was stable enough yesterday that the nurses said we could bring presents in and i took my kids to see him for the first time since he had his stroke so that it maybe would boost his spirits and he could watch them open thier presents… Im ready for a new year.. it cant get much worse.. at least im hoping….now im hoping for christmas next year..hoping that my hubbys home in time and be able to spend it like normal.. lot of family and food..

I got a hefty B&N gift card and can go snatch the book or use my awesome email coupon from Borders (which is closer) and grab it there. My holiday went smashing – literally and figuratively. Who can blame you for being a little lazy and one smart cookie! The lines at the post office are just awful. I stood in line one day for 57 minutes. (yes I timed it because it gave me something to do) surrounded by crying children and cursing adults. That’s when I gave up and started shopping online because all the hassle to the spirit of Christmas right out of me. And after the holiday sales definately not for me.

Talk about craziness at the malls. It was packed and people were not friendly. Also did anyone else have trouble returning things this year? My sister and I decided next year we are paying cash for everything so no one has a problem if they need to return anything. On a good note my sister and I successfully cooked a Christmas Eve dinner for 30 people, 4 were unexpected quest. This was a huge deal for us. We never cook. Hope everyone else’s holiday was as good as mine.
