Writing Themed Giveaway (Building Believable Characters)
Janelle Icon

Since we don’t have a writing related blog today, I’m giving away a writing related book on Building Believable Characters by Marc McCutcheon. This is from my personal library and is chocked full of some great information and topics on creating three dimensional characters.

If you would like a chance to win this writing reference book, all you need to do is post a note on today’s blog, then check back tomorrow (Sunday) to see if you’re name was drawn as the winner!

Janelle

JanelleJanelle Denison finds it hard to believe that it’s been nearly 25 years since she first started writing romance novels. At first, it was a way to pass idle time while her husband worked swing shift, but before long it became an obsession to get published. Luckily, she kept at it (it took her over 5 years to get that first book published!) and is now a Waldenbooks, Barnes & Noble, and USA Today Bestselling author! Now, after selling over 45 plus novels, she finds that her Plotmonkey pals help to keep her stories fresh and unique, and she can’t imagine writing a story without their input. Janelle lives in Oregon with her husband, Don, along with two teenage daughters that keep life interesting.

Don’t throw my name in the hat as I already have this book. I want to second the love. This is my favorite writing reference book. I use parts of the character questionnaire and I’m very fond of the “Facial Expressions, Body and Vocal Language.” Definitely brings life to your character.

Wow, I’m kind of like Cher. While I didn’t think I had all the available books, I thought I’d at least heard of them. Don’t put my name in the drawing since I’ve recently won, but thanks for bringing it to my attention. I’m off to add it to my wish list!

    Have a super weekend, everyone!

I need this book. I am going through my first draft on a story and wondering how to beef up my characters. They seem too one dimensional right now. Of course, if I don’t win I will have to look this up and see if I can get if from Amazon. LOL

Happy Holidays to all. I can’t wait for Christmas. I feel like a little kid. :cooldance:
