Between all the traveling, insane writing schedule and back to school, I sort of forgot that I have surgery scheduled for today! Nothing major, it’s outpatient, but considering how I feel about general anesthesia, I’m not looking forward to it.

involves anesthesia
I don’t go back to work until mid October.
Dr. appointment yesterday was one of those;
I shouldn’t have worried myself sick over.
I guess thatmeans 1 more 2 week trip to Maine!

SORRY, Paula R, I haven’t read any of the “Shopaholic” books.

Good luck Leslie! Anesthesia is always psychologically more difficult then the risks. Remember no caffeine or nicotine after it inhibits healing. Rest & eat right & you will be back on your feet before you know it.

I hope everything goes well. I had outpatient surgery not long ago and it’s not an experience I want to go through again anytime soon: :) I think forgetting about it is kind of a blessing. I worried about mine for days. Now you can just go get it done with minimal worrying :) I hope you have a quick and painless recovery :)

Well today was my last day at the bookstore and I am very
. I am making hubby take me out to dinner- but I think he is in the backyard sleeping, I mean reading. The dork.
I will miss all the people I worked with, but it’s not like I won’t see them. As my manager said, I will be back in to check on who is doing my job and let them know what they are/aren’t doing right.
And straightening up the magazine section, without interruption!!
