Yes, the Plotmonkeys want to know about YOUR birthday!
You all go out of your way to make us feel so special on our birthdays, that we want to return the favor when it’s YOUR birthday! But in order to do that, you do need to give us some information so when your birthday comes around, we can celebrate it by mentioning your name on our blog on the day of your birthday, along with some fun birthday wishes! :present1:
All you have to do is follow this link to Birthday Alarm, where you’ll be able to give us your birthday information. Then, when it’s your birthday, we’ll be sure to mention it here at the jungle, so we can all help you celebrate and eat cyber-cake!
We promise to keep all your birthday information private and confidential and won’t share it with anyone!
CLICK HERE to give us your birthday information (giving us the year you were born isn’t necessary!
).
Let us know what you think of this fun, new idea! We hope you all will join in on the fun!
A QUICK NOTE: Normally Monday is Carly’s day to post, but since the weekends have been so hectic for her, I’ll be doing Monday’s from now on and Carly will be posting on Thursdays.

Janelle Denison finds it hard to believe that it’s been nearly 25 years since she first started writing romance novels. At first, it was a way to pass idle time while her husband worked swing shift, but before long it became an obsession to get published. Luckily, she kept at it (it took her over 5 years to get that first book published!) and is now a Waldenbooks, Barnes & Noble, and USA Today Bestselling author! Now, after selling over 45 plus novels, she finds that her Plotmonkey pals help to keep her stories fresh and unique, and she can’t imagine writing a story without their input. Janelle lives in Oregon with her husband, Don, along with two teenage daughters that keep life interesting.

I’m shameless, I admit it. I LOVE celebrating my birthday (ahem, which is 2 months away, ahem), so this is super cool. And how fun to celebrate everyone else’s birthday as well. I’m all for it.

Me too! Like Stacy, I love celebrating my birthday and I’ll be doing just that 5 weeks from now.

As long as there are still only 39 candles on the cake, I have no problems with it!!
I finally quit celebrating the 29th.

All entered. Although I did go by Ann M. I’m thinking of using to to send out to some of my friends. I’m forever forgetting birthdays.

Good luck, Ev, on the interview!!
I love birthday alarm. I did it with all my friends and its saved me more than once in reminding me of birthdays that I would have been horrified if I’d forgotten.
Hope Jackie is recovering quickly and thanks for the heads up on the switch, Janelle. It threw me for a loop this morning.

Janelle I love the birthday alarm. I signed up since my b-day is only 6 weeks away and now that I’m old enough not to celebrate with a party, I will take any celebrations I can get.

Donna…you’re not going to believe this, but he’s HOME! Just got home an hour ago and is resting.
I can’t believe all this happened in less than a week. Modern medicine is amazing. I’m going to see him this evening.
Thanks for asking and everyone for prayers and healing thoughts…he’s got a road ahead of him to complete healing, but hopefully, it’s not a long one!

I truly like the idea. I even put the year of my birth down!

Julie- so glad to hear your dad is home already. Isn’t it amazing. My dad had a triple bypass in ’81 and he was in the hospital for weeks. My step-mom had a triple bypass last year and, like your dad, she was home in a matter of days!
Stacy, thank you for the compliment on the website. It’s a constant work in progress….and so far it’s a MAJOR chore
so please stop back again soon. Hopefully I’ll have the first chapter of Reaction Time posted soon.

Jullie- I am so glad your dad is doing so well. Just make sure he does his breathing exercises. They seem stupid but are so important.
My 3rd interview lasted over 2 hours. I am taking it as a good sign. I called my HR contact in MN to let them know and they were amazed it lasted so long. Hopefully I will hear in the next day or so.
Thanks for all the good wishes and keep them coming. I really, really, really want this job. I mean, really.

I love birthdays – mine is in late June, and it’s surrounded by a lot of friend and family birthdays. Unfortunately my friends aren’t so big on birthdays, so I always have to plan my own birthday events/dinner. And I remember on my 21st birthday, I had to buy my own drink! (Yes, singular – I didn’t want to go too crazy, and it was no fun having to pick up the slack on that milestone.)

Ev, good luck on the interview and the birthday thing sounds good to me.
