Today is an eclectic mix …
Tomorrow I am leaving for RWA, San Francisco! I can’t wait to see my fellow plotmonkeys. I miss them so much! I’m excited to plot and to do my RWA things. IT’s an interesting year for me. The first time I didn’t submit a workshop or do a PAN workshop – I had a very hectic year and I thought I’d take this summer off. Now that RWA is here, I feel funny going and NOT giving a presentation. Well, there’s always NEXT year!
I hope to meet many of you in San Francisco. I warn you ahead of time I am horrible with names and faces, so please please don’t be insulted if you say “I’m on plotmonkeys all the time” and I can’t place the name or the face. It doesn’t mean I’m not excited to see you!
I have special goodie bags (for as long as they last) at the Literacy Signing, so come early! And if you tell me you’re a jungle visitor, if I have some left, one is yours!
I’m signing HOT PROPERTY (and I don’t know if anything else will be there, so your guess is as good as mine, LOL!)
I’m going to use the almost 6 hour plane ride in either direction to put on my sound proof headset and WRITE.

I’m leaving for RWA on Wednesday, so I’ll be sure to stop by and say “hi”. Hey you guys have so many fans I’d hardly be offended if you don’t remember little ole me LOL. I’m just excited to see you guys again. Last time I was at RWA was 2 yrs ago in Atlanta, so I’m really looking forward to this event, and seeing a bit of SFO.

I wish I could go and meet my fellow plotmonkeys (I also am in dire need of a bookmark for books, I keep losing them and have to use those stupid inserts in magazines). Carly, I got my HOT PROPERTY. I think I am going to save it until my weekend away in a hotel next month (we’ll see, I am ‘blazing’ through books-LOL-I was also going to save Leslie’s books, but I may have to read them….so pathetic, LOL!).

Have a great trip Carly. I am actually going to the BART to San Francisco tomorrow to look around and just be a tourist. I am staying with my friend in Berkeley right now. Today is one of those chilling out days, reading and letting my body get used to this west coast time zone. Happy writing!

Please take pics to share with those of us not going!! I was really bummed about not being able to make it, but then Sat. night, hubby had a grand mal seizure and after launching himself out of bed and hittting the night stand on the way to the floor – and then not responding for what seemed like forever! I ended up calling the rescue squad.
He’s fine, bumps, bruises and cuts that can’t be explained but now I’m thanking my lucky stars that I’m not going to conference. I know I’d have a miserable time and be worried about him the whole time I was there.
But I want details, details, details from your field reporters and anyone else that’s going and can pop on here to give us updates. Hope its a fantastic time for everyone!!!!
