Since I had such a fantastic birthday, complete with decadent pampering, I figured I’d spread a little of that feeling. (No, Bruce will not come to your house to give you a massage and a Raike treatment.) But I’ll send one person this nifty foot treatment set from The Body Shop.

No Stacy, I am going to stay in and try and put my re-painted craft room back together. I know there is a dining room somewhere under the mess that I pulled out of the craft room. I hope to get it cleaned up before Thanksgiving!!

No really big plans here for the weekend, except that I have to pack on Sunday for my trip to Tennessee next week. I’ll be in Knoxville for a week, which means, I’ll probably take a run on down to the Smokie Mountains for a day and enjoy . I absolutely love it there. You all have a good week next week and take care of yourselves.
Great prize as usual Leslie, but really, why won’t you lend us Bruce for just 1 massage.

I am going to an author signing this weekend so that will be great fun. Visiting with some great on line friends as well as wonderful authors, I am sure it will be a fabulous time. Sunday I will spend the day reading and doing laundry and pretty much relaxing and getting ready for the next week.

Great prizes as always!!!

My big plans for the weekend include driving back to my sister’s house(3 hours away) for her 4 yr old’s birthday party. It should be really fun, but that means I have to clean and do laundry all day on Sunday when I get back. Hopefully I’ll get a “me” weekend soon.

Foot treatments are the best. I had a friend give me on before and it was heaven. After that I have often wonder what it would be like to go to a spa. I don’t pamper myself often. With three kids you kind of forget about yourself. Your life is no longer your own it has been invade by little whining munchkins. I love my kids though and wouldn’t want it any other way.

What a wonderful treat!!!

I would like nothing more than to stay home and read this weekend, but my to do list is immense. I have to work for a little while tomorrow……but I am buying my first house, and must pack and sort through things I no longer want!!! It’s exhilerating, but also overwhelming. Why on earth have I collected such a huge quantity of stuff over the years? :doh:

My new house is approximately the same square footage as my apartment, but the room sizes are not comparable. Therefore, I’m struggling with what to do with my over abundance of “treasures”.

I normally buy my books from Walmart or Barnes and Noble. I’ve noticed over the last couple of months that Walmart has really limited their romance novel selection. Barnes and Noble has been reducing the amount of space dedicated to romance as well. Has anyone else noticed the same thing happening where they live? Therefore, to feed my addiction, I placed an order with Barnes and Noble online and my order is being delivered today. I’ve got to squeak out some reading time this weekend. Perhaps I shouldn’t have ordered until after I moved…….nahhhhhh. :grin1:

I am so excited the sun is finally shining. It has been so dark and gloomy for so long. To bad I can’t really enjoy it, except through the windows, I am nursing a bruised tail bone thanks to a fall on the ice on Monday. :sosad:

:flower4you: Yeah-this is the weekend for the Visiting Nurses Association book fair where I get alot of books. The profits go to several charaties for children. I donate alot of books to them. Occassionally I give some books to my mother to take to her bingo-buddies. Surprisingly, they want the racy kind. ha ha
I am curious what other people do with books after they have read them? I have a keeper shelf but running out of space there.
