What Julie Leto had to say on Sunday, January 20th, 2008
This week’s winner of the pralines and the book is #11, Karen H!
Please email me with your snail addy so I can get the order going! And stay warm!
Here’s this week’s funnies…and they’re visual.

By all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

Congrats!!!
And that could be my mall. And me shopping. Although the $$ spent might be a little off……
:cold: I have yet to go outside this weekend and don’t plan on starting now. I would have to get out of my nice warm jammies to do it!!

Thanks ever so much
Absolutely love contests…especially when I win!

Congrats Karen!
:cold: Getting ready for the arctic blast coming into New England today. I’ll be reading a good book and then watching football this afternoon!
Go Patriots!

Congrats on winning, Karen.
Thank God! Hope it’ll stay this way.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
I’m lucky, too. It’s getting warmer here. But there are still some disgusting winds. But at least no cold anymore.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend everybody. Because there’s nothing better to do than reading when it’s cold and stormy outside. So I have the perfect excuse to read through a huuuuge stack of books. Gotta love it. :heart1:
In the AFC, I honestly don’t care whether the Pats or Chargers make it (I like them both) but I defintiely go for the Giants.
See you

Just another difference between men and women–it is 60 degrees in Tampa right now. I’m wearing sweats, fuzzy slippers and turned on the heater while I write. My husband, on the other hand, is on his way to Lambeau Field to watch the Packers play in person. It’s supposed to be 32 degrees below, with wind chill. He’s insane. Cer-ti-fi-a-ble.

Oh Julie I wish I was going to see the Packers. Brrr maybe not.

Jeannie, Welcome to Ella Jean, how exciting. Enjoy her.
Julie, I’m with you at 60 the heat is on & I’m all dressed in layers to keep warm! I don’t like cold except when I’m inside nice & toasty! We have a very cool storm coming in, even with the sun out it is not warm!! :cold: We are suppose to have some weather down in the 20′s at night! BRRRRR!
Your husband would give up a warm cozy house to be at Lambeau Field with the weather predicted for today! Now that is a dedicated football fan! I can’t even imagine just sitting in the stands watching on a day as cold as it is in Green Bay!!! :cold:
Love the funnies!!
Have a great day everyone.

Dedicated is not the word I would choose. :scratch3:
