Julie’s Jungle Madness Friday
Julie Icon

I’m home…still jet-lagged, but home. And yes, it’s warm here. But don’t start talking about everyone coming to visit until you’ve been here in August.

I got an email today from Loretta’s Pralines reminding me that Mardi Gras is right around the corner. As IF I’d forget. But still…it’s nice to be reminded. And so, I’m offering a sampler of pralines from Loretta’s and a copy of my books, NEW ORLEANS NIGHTS, if you don’t already have a copy.

US residents only.

Julie Leto

JulieBy all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold nearly thirty books to three publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her husband, daughter, spoiled dachshund, enormous guinea pig and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

I’ll pass on the prizes this time around, but want to wish everyone a great weekend! Stay warm, read lots, and just relax. Me, I’m planning on cuddling up for a Richard Armitage marathon, starting with “Robin Hood” and ending with the lovely “North & South”. Just can’t get enough of the man ;)

Even if I can’t take part, I want to wish everybody a great AND warm weekend. I think I’ll reread some books I haven’t read in a while. And maybe my sister will come over and we’ll have some fun. Hope your having fun, too.
    Glad you’re home safely, Julie
Enjoy the weekend and take care all.

    See you

And I’ve been there in August- I used to spend my summers with my cousins. I only want to visit in the dead of winter.

Good morning :monkey :monkey :monkey :monkey and jungle friends,

Jules, count me in for this prize. I don’t have New Orleans Nights yet, so that would be a great addition to my library. Isn’t that the book that has the Devine sisters from Sexscapades? I finally picked up Dirty Little Secrets. I hope you get a chance to catch up on sleep. Have a wonderful day everyone…

Janelle, I am almost halfway through the Wilde series…I have been reading multiple books again…

Carly, the “hot” books are next on my list…

Leslie, I was finally able to purchase the two books I was missing from the Santori “saga”… Don’t open ’til Xmas and Behind the Red Doors…I will probably end up rereading the entire “series again when they finally come in the mail…

I have to sign off so I could go to the Dr. Talk to you all later….

    TGIF…have a wonderful day!!!!

    Peace and love,
    Paula R.

That prize would be great for this weekend, pralines and a good book, and I think I’ll have to have the fireplace lit this weekend. Nothing better than relaxing in front of the fireplace with a good book, or of course, a very hot guy.
    Everyone stay warm this weekend.

    Hi Julie -
Wow, already thinking about Mardi Gras! I’ll also agree with it being super cold today. Worse, I was colder sitting in a classroom than outside. Please count me in on this contest – I’ve never read “New Orleans Nights,” or had pralines. I’ve only been to New Orleans once – in late July- early August. Here is to hoping you all stay warm! Here in NC, we are supposed to be getting snow. If you live here, you know that means there will not be any eggs, milk, or bread in ANY of the stores! Even if only 1-3 inches is being called for! I intend to stay inside, watch it fall, watch my children with their wide eyes, and take them out to play in it! (Snow is rare here in my part of the state.) So, snuggle up to loved ones! Count me in for the prizes! :hug2:

:cold: Count me in, please. I miss the pralines of my home state!

I wish it were warmer here in Oregon. It is a crazy weather year here!
