Hi, hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I’m thankful I survived! My SIL set up a table in the study so that hubby would have a quiet place off from the two other big tables (19 people total). Since his surgery he has no sort of filter for background noise, everything just comes at him at once. My SIL’s MIL and FIL sat with us…think a southern belle Miss Manners. The woman got choked on a piece of food and coughed without making a sound!!!
Very stressful for a country redneck like me whose idea of dressing up is finding clean jeans without holes. I’m so thankful that’s behind me for another year!

My grandson & had a yummy :feast: yesterday, not turkey but very good. We did have pumpkin pie!
No way do I want to go out shopping today. Tomorrow I will be in San Francisco all day, so today I will get some Saturday chores done! I also want to go for a walk in this gorgeous weather.

Hope everyone is enjoying the Black Friday sales. Not ME, I am staying home with no crowds, no traffic and just relaxing after eating too much yesterday. Can you believe some stores opened at midnight, 1:00AM, 4:00AM or 5:00AM…crazy! I somehow manage to get all my shopping done without resorting to getting up in the middle of the night or fighting my way through a sea of people.

My fiance and I decided to cook again together this year. Last year we had fun together. My fiance made the yams and I added cut up apples in it. It came out very good. We made it last year and loved it so we made it again for this year. We made Peach pie, Apple pie & Sweet potato pie. We also made baked macaroni & cheese, Honey glazed ham, Collard greens, Black eye peas, Corn bread stuffing, biscuits and cranberry. We have so much left over *G*
