FRIDAY’S CONTEST
Teresa W. (Comment #17)
CONGRATULATIONS Teresa! Please contact me at carlyphillips@optonline.net with your mailing address, and to let me know which one of my backlist books you’d liked autographed. (Depending on availability. Sorry, but CROSS MY HEART & SEALED WITH A KISS are not available at this time.)
And now, a Sunday funny:
A VERY ugly man walks into the bar with a big grin on his face and orders a draft beer.
“What are you so happy about?” asks the barman.
“Well, I’ll tell you,” replies the ugly man. “You know, I live by the railroad tracks. Well, on my way home last night, I noticed a young woman tied to the tracks, like in the films. I, of course, went and cut her free and took her back to my place. Anyway, to make a long story short, I scored big time! We made love all night, all over the house. We did everything, me on top, sometimes her on top, every position imaginable!”
“Fantastic!” exclaimed the barman. “You lucky bastard, was she pretty?”
“Dunno…Never found the head!”

Janelle Denison finds it hard to believe that it’s been nearly 25 years since she first started writing romance novels. At first, it was a way to pass idle time while her husband worked swing shift, but before long it became an obsession to get published. Luckily, she kept at it (it took her over 5 years to get that first book published!) and is now a Waldenbooks, Barnes & Noble, and USA Today Bestselling author! Now, after selling over 45 plus novels, she finds that her Plotmonkey pals help to keep her stories fresh and unique, and she can’t imagine writing a story without their input. Janelle lives in Oregon with her husband, Don, along with two teenage daughters that keep life interesting.

Congratulations Teresa W. You lucky girl…anything you get from Carly’s BL is great…
Thanks for the Sunday funny Carly.
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend…I love the extra hour of sleep, but as you can see, I am not taking advantage of it…my body wakes up when it is ready…a lot of years of military training to get this way. I won’t be able to go back to sleep either…those of you who are up in a different time zone, good morning, good afternoon and good night…See you guys later…
Peace and love,
Paula R.

Congrats, Teresa!!
Love the extra hour of sleep. The doctor started me on a sleeping medicine because I have so many problems with sleep. The medicine is also good for preventing migraines and stopping restless leg syndrome – all good for me. But, it knocks me out!!! Now that I’m getting more caught up on sleep it doesn’t seem to be as potent but the extra hour was still a huge blessing!
Hope it’s a great day for everyone!

OMG Carly! You really do have a morbid sense of humor, which is right up my alley…lol :happy2:
I loved the extra hour, not that I slept extra, but because we were up so early my husband and I went out for breakfast and then walked along the boardwalk…we then went down to the bridge to watch the start of the NY marathon which was very exciting… and we were still home in time for football!
