JulieBy all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

    A whole bunch of those made me smile. In fact, I giggled and laughed and had to cover my mouth to keep from spewing Gatorade a couple of times. And the best part is, I can send them to my 12 year old!

    Today is my last day of solitude. In fact, I’m down to my last 30 minutes. Hubby called me last night and said he was catching a ride back to the mainland (he’s on an island) this morning. He’s really tired and thinks he’s had enough so I’m so glad I came with him. Now he has a quiet place to rest for a day and I can help him drive back.

    Maybe he’ll sleep most of the day! :giggle: I owe Sven some serious word counts!
