I Love Spaniels. :heart1: :heart1: :heart1: :heart1:
I have an English Springer Spaniel which I just adore. :heart1:
The Spaniels have the softest coat. Just like human hair. :dog:

ahhhh Karen/Carly....you know I love dogs period! I've had poodles, border collies, beagles, beagle mix and now I have a Lhasa Apso/Poodle mix. Which is my favorite? Can you say which kid is your favorite? LOL As a dog groomer for over 20 years my favorites to groom were Schnauzers and Shih Tzus.

I do so love the little ones. Mostly cause they are just the right size to snuggle and hug and just go crazy over. So much nicer to hold when they dont weigh a ton LOL

Mo....heading over to subscribe to the puppy digest thingy

I wanted a Corgi but, somehow, we ended up with a Boxer. 8O

We got her when she was a puppy and have had her 4 years this past summer. I can't imagine having another dog. She is the BEST thing with the kids.

She LOVES kids and she LOVES to play. She also loves to try to sit in my lap. The goofball. LOL

She's also an inside dog, so I tell everyone we have a horse in our house.

I just posted a couple of pics of her on my blog www.lilcinny.com/Blog.

Jodie- Shedding with Labs is usually a sign of a thyroid problem. Mine is on meds for it, and the shedding has stopped. Keep that in mind next time. :dog1:

I have had several breeds and mutts. I love them all.

My current lab/hound mix was a rescue- he was no longer a cute puppy and the owners let him wander outside, unfed and unsupervised, in the trailer park behind out Elks Lodge. That winter of '01 was brutal, and I took him home with me. I have never had such a wonderful dog as him- he is the politest, most loveable, easy going guy.

And then there is our wire-haired mini doxi. Isis is also a rescue from the doxie rescue group. She is as outgoing as he is introverted. Charlie, the lab, loves any other animal. Our cats, other dogs wandering around. He doesn't care. Isis, on the other hand, has a Napoleon complex, but is so funny.

I call her our alarm system, while he is the stelth alarm. When Charlie barks, we listen, he does it so seldom.

Right now, Isis is behind me on the couch making faces because the new kitten is sitting on my shoulder. They are in the process of making friends with each other. As long as the kitten stays off our bed. That is dog territory.

The kitten is sitting in front of the screen, shasing the bouncing icons and the mouse arrow while I type. This is not easy. :rotfl1:

I have a 15 year old Yorkshire Terrier, but my favorite breed is Pekingese.
Both of my Pekes passed away of old age.

My brother has the most loving, adorable golden retriever...is HUGE (his head is as big as my dachsund) and everyone loves him. His name is Buddy. They recently adopted an elderly retriever named Maggie. She's so sweet. Love the breed.
