I just want to tell all of the plotmonkeys what a great blog this is. I love communicating with all of you over such a long distance, even from Germany . It' s such a great idea. Readers can chat with their favorite authors and vice versa and learn something about the daily life of a writer.
Big praise to you. :applause:
Every morning when I get up, I'd love to switch on the computer and read the latest blog. But then I remember that it's dark night where you live :)
So I have to wait till midday until I read the latest blog you wrote in the morning. That's the inly disadvantage.

Keep writing those great books

I am currently reading Overexposed by someone named Leslie something. LOL.

Really enjoying it and now I have to get the other siblings books.

Also recently enjoyed Red Hot Reunion by Bella Andre, Your Mouth Drives Me Crazy by HelenKay Dimon and Tempt Me Tonite by Toni Blake - all vg stories - with snappy dialogues. :cooldance:

Leslie, I am a re-reader to the max...that is why I buy books...when I invest my money, I don't do it so that I can read the book only once, I read, re-read and re-read again...Tina, I was about 14 or 15 when I first read Shanna...I have read it about 5 or 6 times...I have re-read wishes several times too...I just went through a re-reading phase with Johanna Lindsey and I am about to re-read the Calder stories by Janet Dailey...Another book that I have re-read several times is A Knight in Shining Armor by Devereaux...that book was the first one I had ever read by her, which caused me to fall in love with her books and the Montgomery clan...I am a big Barbara Delinsky fan as well and I have re-read her book called Facets so many times, I can't even count them...it has gotten to the point where I can pretty much tell you the entire story now by just looking at the cover....when that I happens, I give myself several years before I even think to open it again...the Jackie Merritt book I just finished, Montana Passion, was a re-read for me as well...

On another note, I am going to recommend some non-romance books that I read this summer that were really good...

The Memory Keepers Daughter (the author's name escapes me right now)
Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns: Khaled Hosseini
Snowflower and the Secret Fan: Lisa See
Sisters: Danielle Steele (sorry, this was a romance, but not like Blaze. I loved her old stuff, but stopped reading some of her new stuff, and this book is causing me to go back and re-read some of her older stuff and taking a look at her more recent books...)
Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas and Sam's Letters for Jennifer: James Patterson

I loved these books...can you tell that my reading taste is varied...I have been reading mostly romance lately because I needed a little romance in my life...I know, that's pathetic, but if one doesn't have it, one has to live vicariously through others or the printed word, no?

Julie, you mentioned reading young adult books...I have read several, and there are several that stuck out to me...

Speak (can't remember the author's name...I am a bad girl...I think it starts with L though...could be wrong) This books is primarily for young girls and I believe it should be read with a parent or another adult that they trust, so that they can discuss the material they read openly and honestly...I feel that this world has changed too much to try to shield our youth from its harsh realities, especially when they are inundated with images of demoralization, rape, abuse, bullying and such through the media...I will get off my soapbox now...sorry, I got sidetracked...can you guys tell that I am getting in school mode?

Downsiders by Avi. This book is a wonderful story about difference, acceptance and tolerance...

Both these books speak to a lot of things that young adults live daily in society as a whole or individually, albeit not necessarily personally...
Peace and love,

Not much of a re-reader here Leslie.

I barely have enough time to read them once.

I do have a favorites saved shelf that maybe when retired,

I'll read again.

Leslie I just started reading Overexposed and I can't wait to get home from work to read more!!

Wow Vero Germany! It's great that the plotmonkeys :monkey :monkey :monkey :monkey are loved around the world!!!
I have lived in New York, my whole life and I love it here! Thanks for asking

Leslie, I do re-read but only if I don't have something new. I have read The Bachelor a few times, Shanna by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss, and Wishes by Jude Deveraux many times because they are my favorite's. Every now and then, I re-read on accident...lol I start a book only to realize I've already read it :fryingpan:
