Julie’s Jungle Madness Friday!
Julie Icon

My Blaze, STRIPPED, is hitting the streets as we speak…I’m hearing from readers all over that they are getting copies. Yeah! You’ve seen my cover…it features candles created not by the heroine of the book, but by her best friend (who is the heroine of the book I’m writing right now!) Fun, huh? So, of course…the prize this week is…candles.

.

This cute gift box filled with four petite aromatherapy candles is yours if you post a comment here! Remember, one entry per IP address and US winners only because of shipping.

Badbarb asked that I put up a blurb for STRIPPED…not a bad idea, LOL! Here’s the back cover copy. For all you paranormal fans out there, this is the first in my St. Lyon Witches series. For those of you who aren’t paranormal fans…trust me, this one is pretty paranormal light…until the end, and by then, you’ll be so hooked in to the characters you won’t care. (Hopefully!)

Under her spell…

Lilith St. Lyon is a witch–really! And she hasn’t been too good lately. (It seems using her powers to make Detective Mac Mancusi totally infatuated with her was a big no-no. Who knew?) After all, what woman could resist having a sexy guy like Mac aching for her every minute they were apart? But the Council isn’t pleased–in fact, they’re stripping Lilith of her powers. What’s a witch to do?

Especially now–when Mac’s suddently back in her life, looking to rekindle the magic…

Julie Leto

JulieBy all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

As you know i have already read the book. There are some perks to working for the Evil Queen of the Flying Monkeys.

I loved it and am glad that there is another story coming.

:wtf: Last night we bought a new computer desk because hubby wanted dual monitors. So he took it all apart while I went to get the new furniture with his son. I thought he knew enough to mark the wires.

    Apparantly not.

First we didn’t have internet. I finally called the company and got that straightened out. Notice I say called. This morning, when I couldn’t find our son’s 16 year old cat who lives with us, I tried to call hubby. Now the phone won’t work. I have no clue why it did last nite. I called the cable company to tell the repairman, who is already scheduled for something else here this morning, to call my cell phone. I am ready to scream.

I did find the cat, who snuck out the door while we weren’t looking last nite- he spent the nite in my neighbor’s back yard cause ours is fenced in. He came charging down the driveway when I called him. It also explains why the dog was in the backyard last night barking at a “squirrel” at 1 a.m.

We live off a very, very busy road and let me tell you I was scared spitless. Thankfully the cat just likes to hang in the yard as a general rule, although when Tex is out front he is on a leash, unlike the back yard. There he just crawls under the gazebo zipper and lays around in there. Hard life.:doggie::cat::doggie::dog:

We are going to Cooperstown this weekend. It is supposed to rain all weekend, which means most of the out door festivities will be cancelled. :wallbash:

Julie, Please remove me from the gift pool–I won Janelle’s anthology recently. I wanted to say that I just finished Stripped, & enjoyed it. IA that it’s “paranormal lite”, so, I’m letting yours be the ONLY paranormals I read. BTW, do like the heroine chosen for the cover–she’s someone I think would actually look like the one in your story.

I suppose I should have said what scents these are. Here’s the description:

Green linen exterior paired with a watercolor floral interior of pinks and greens on an ivory background. Contains lemongrass & bergamot, ylang ylang & sandalwood and green tea & ginger fragrances.

There are a few to choose from, so the winner will get to pick the one she likes best…though this is the description from the picture. It’s called “Julia” which is why I picked it!

Happy Friday everyone! I am ready to be through with work for the day so I can go take a nap. One of my cats, Lucifer, woke me up in the middle of the night growling and pawing at the bedroom window. And then I hear this tiny meow coming from outside so, of course, I had to get up and make sure this cat (who doesn’t even belong to me) was alright. When I flipped on the light, he had his front paws up on my window sill and was just looking at my cats. I had seen this cat before and knew he was scittish of me so I just put him a cup of food on the ground and crawled back in bed. But after I get awake, I have a really hard time going back to sleep. And then I couldn’t sleep in b/c I had to work and I had to get up and feed the 3 kittens that I am raising on a bottle. They are about ready for homes and I know that I am going to miss them even though I don’t need 3 more cats. I don’t guess anybody on here would like a sweet kitten would they? Kittens raised by a person make the best pets. I live in central Alabama if anyone is interested and lives close by.
