Summer is nearly upon us…well, here in Florida, it is definitely here. Soaring temperatures and blue, blue skies. Also…I’ve been cleaning my office this week and I have a box of books that I’m going to send to the winner. It’s an assortment of titles I’ve bought this year that either I didn’t get a chance to read or that I read and loved, but need to make room for more! There’s romantic suspense, category, paranormal, chick lit and straight romance. Might even find a historical or two. I’m not sure as I’m still filling the box. So that goes to the winner as well!

Eric, my son who is spending the summer in Gainesville, FL says “He’s baking! It’s so hot!” He’s used to spending his summers in Wisconsin. Temp last week in Wisconsin a whopping 68 for a high and a low of 52!!! BRRR!! This week we’ve bounced into the 80′s!! Thank You G–! Who knows where we’ll be next week.

I love the apple pie truffle! When I lived on the west coast I used to get one of those and one of the Kona Coffee truffles so that I could have my pie and coffee, the perfect dessert. Have a great weekend everyone!

As always, great prize. I almost get giddy at the idea of a box of books. It’s funny, because the way some women are crazy about shoes is the way I am about books. When I go to the mall I get so absorbed in the book store I forget there are other things to buy there.

Someone actually gave me a box of booze once. This wasn’t a case of expensive scotch, but a dusty box of disgusting, random beers and homemade wines they’d collected over the years.

First my inside cat got out of the house, then I had to go grocery shopping and they were out of everything… including my favorite ice cream! I fell down and hurt my hip etc., etc. But my cat came back so I’m happy!
