It’s summertime! Well, almost. In about another week so close enough, LOL. So, to get ready to celebrate the upcoming summer months, this week I’m giving away a “summertime” gift package, complete with a large 6 foot beach/pool towel, two beach anthologies including stories by moi (PERFECT FOR THE BEACH & SURF’S UP), and a luxurious orange and cinnamon shower gel and rich body balm to pamper your skin after a day in the sun!

Janelle Denison finds it hard to believe that it’s been nearly 25 years since she first started writing romance novels. At first, it was a way to pass idle time while her husband worked swing shift, but before long it became an obsession to get published. Every summer I wish I lived at the Beach. Just the thought of sitting on the beach all day enjoying the sun, listening to the surf and the salty smell of the ocean can relax me. Happy Memorial Day! All you beach people soak up some rays for me.

Summer is my favorite time of year and I enjoy relaxing at the beach. Haven’t been for two years and just loved the entire 10 days we were there. Have a lovely holiday weekend.

I love the summer…I love being outdoors and being more active. love the fresh veggies and fruits. I love cooking outdoors and sleeping outdoors. I grew up in the hot, sultry summers of Illinois, but now I live in the mountains. Once we get to summer, it is pretty much perfect. Sunny, cloudless days and cooler evenings. It is just getting to summer. This spring we had an unusually warm month, several days in the high 70s. I was loving it. But it is the holiday weekend, which means we have snow, rain and cold.

I’ll be working Monday but I’m celebrating on Sunday with a big family cookout at my house. (I have the pool)

Cool Prize! I am a beach happy kind of gal with my orange/lime color flip-flops, sunglasses, tall cool glass of lemonade on the rocks, and a fave book to read. Of course my beach experience wouldn’t be complete without my favorite reclining beach chair that sits nice and close to the water’s edge.
Oh what fun if I won to drape that pretty towel over my chair or to cuddle up in! Also, the books would be absolutely perfect since I don’t own them yet. Count me in on the FUN IN THE SUN beach prize!
