Okay, here's mine. Me and my boyfriend were riding a 4wheeler. We were on the main highway. He was driving too fast around a curve and it was about to flip over. Instead, he decided to point it to the side of the road where there was a 10 ft. drop into a tobacco field. I screamed all the way down. Luckily, the 4wheeler landed upright and no one got hurt. We ended up getting back on the main road. He didn't tell me that he had wrecked a 4wheeler before or I wouldn't have been riding with him.

In college I met a guy who, you know, the typical first date would be to see a movie and I said yes. Well, he was hard of hearing and I was deaf. So we went to see Jumping Jack Flash with Whoopi. Well a theatre is dark and dark makes me tired, so I um, fell asleep! So that was my first date. I thought for sure we were finished! But he asked me out a few times after. Then he said, lets go see Poltergeist. I thought, well I'm gonna try really hard to stay awake. Well the movie was so scary. People coming out of the TV, furniture bending, all that creepy stuff. I tried to close my eyes and sleep but I couldn't!! I ended up awake and doozy from it! So after the movie he wanted to go to the Pizza resturant. So we get there and I am looking at the menu. He taps the menu and I look at him, and he had bent a fork (like in the movie). I just screamed right in the resturant terrified! Now that was worse than I falling asleep.
Well we been now married 23 years :cheer:
Though we never watch movies together still :biteme:

Hello Kimberly,

WoW what a great idea for a giveaway. I would love to own this book :)

Here is my story :)

I talked to a guy on the internet for 6 months before we actually met. We made plans to meet at his apt building at a certain time on a certain day. We already knew what each other looked like because we exchanged pictures.

I showed up at his place 20 minutes early and sat there refreshing my makeup in the car. Out of nowhere some jerk hits my parked car while parking his car. We both get out of the car to exchange information. The guy had a pretty girl with him who I assumed was his girlfriend. Well as the guy got out of the car, I realized it was my internet date. I guess he didn't recognize me right away, because he didn't say anything. My car wasn't badly damaged I thought, so I just took his info but didn't give mine. I got back in my car and watched him flirting with the girl. I couldn't beleive that he already had a girlfriend and was going out on a date with me anyway.

When I got home I left him a nasty message, told him to go to hell and that I don't want to ever talk to him again. I told him I was the girl in the car and that I saw him with his little slutty girlfriend. Later on I checked my email and he had emailed me about his day. He said he went out with his SISTER for lunch and then accidently hit a girl's car and he felt really bad about it. I couldn't beleive that she was his sister and not his girlfriend! I gathered he didn't check his phone messages yet or he wouldn't have left me such a nice email.

So to make a long story short, he checked his phone messages not long after, heard the nasty message, and stopped contacting me all together! I know I reacted like an idiot, but she was wearing a slutty outfit and who goes out with their BROTHER dressed like that? LOL Oh well, I found a better man anyway. He wasn't that cute afterall.

Have A Wonderful & Lovely Weekend EveryOne :cocktail:

Hugssss

Dead End Dating sounds really good! As for the dating scene, I am so glad I have been happily married for over 6 years. I don't miss it at all. The worst were the blind dates I went on when one of my coworkers decided to play matchmaker. She was lousy at it. These guys and I had nothing in common. The worst date I guess was the one that the guy did not even show up or maybe I should consider it the best considering the caliber of men she chose for me. I should probably feel grateful he did not show up. :-)
