Jennifer Yates asked: If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
CP: Honest, loyal, emotional (in other words, part Golden Retriever/part Female) :doggie:
JEL: Wow, what am I then? Part pitbull? Nah, part chow. I love chows. I’d say determined, fiesty (I don’t know WHEN that descriptor got a bad rap) and loyal. Loyal is probably one all of us have in common.
LK: Strong. Impassioned. Loving.
JD: Sorry, Julie, but you’re definitely part Pitbull.
, and Leslie is the “mother” of the group. As for me, I’d say I’m independent, laid-back, and yes, loyal, too. I think that’s why we’re all such good friends who can trust one another — loyalty is a necessity to any friendship. Oh, and I think I’m more cat than dog, LOL.
JEL: Janelle, exactly WHO was checking our plates in Atlanta to make sure we were eating our vegetables? It wasn’t Leslie. (She made sure we were having our wine!) She’s not the momma!
So, what three words would you use to describe yourself? And do you think your personality is suited more to a dog, or cat?

Janelle Denison finds it hard to believe that it’s been nearly 25 years since she first started writing romance novels. At first, it was a way to pass idle time while her husband worked swing shift, but before long it became an obsession to get published. Luckily, she kept at it (it took her over 5 years to get that first book published!) and is now a Waldenbooks, Barnes & Noble, and USA Today Bestselling author! Now, after selling over 45 plus novels, she finds that her Plotmonkey pals help to keep her stories fresh and unique, and she can’t imagine writing a story without their input. Janelle lives in Oregon with her husband, Don, along with two teenage daughters that keep life interesting.

Okay if I had to use 3 words to describe myself I would say affectionate, needy or moody (at times), loyal. I guess that would make me 1/2 cat and 1/2 dog even though my personality is definitely more suited towards a dog. I don’t like being by myself the way cats do. I crave affection and am always ready to greet whatever visitor with a big smile and my tail waving. I am very loyal in both my professional and personal life and stick through the good and bad times. Obviously I just get more moody, like a cat, with the bad times.

Unfair. Stacy found a word I forgot to use about myself. Needy and moody. That’s two words.

Three word huh….
1. Dependable (to a fault)
2. Loyal (until you cross me)
3. Sensitive (I cry at commercials and songs)
Loved the cartoon. I can just imagine my pooch whining to me that she is out of Rawhide chewies and that I left the doggie gravy off her dog food.

Julie — I’m on a health kick, that’s why I was making you all eat your fruits and veggies, LOL! Trust me, Leslie is more nurturing than I am!
Comment
Nurturing…yes, she most certainly is that. I think we’re always mothering each other in one way or another, LOL!
You know, I’m a Gemini, so I can have cat days (bitchy, self-centered and cunning) and my doggie days. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Makes me miss my kitty!

I think of Janelle as the mother. Or at least the voice of reason among emotional basketcases.

Honest, Strong and Determined. More of a dog person, I think.

Considerate, compassionate, emotional. Also a Gemini, but no animal connections here.
