By all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

I want this prize!
I’m actually getting ready to head out the door for a quick trip to Seattle (1 1/2 days). The only reason we’re going on this trip is to catch the Seattle Mariners as they play the Boston Red Sox! I’ll be my nephew’s second major league baseball game (we went last year to see Seattle play Chicago White Sox). Go Mariners!

My 10 year old, Little Leaguer grandson would love those cookies. In fact, this Sunday he has his first game in the All Star State Championships game. He is in the 9-10 year old league & his team took the regionals. How his team does in this first game will dictate if they go further toward the final, needless to say he is quite excited.:cooldance:
