I’m a bad girl. I’m sorry!!!!!!! I was up late last night writing and though I intended to write my blog, I FORGOT! 
OK … here’s what I want to talk about. I’m a goodie obsessed writer. I could spend hours online searching for goodies to order so I have them on hand to send out to people. I have door hangars, I have magnets, stickie pads, calendar cards … you name it. 
But what I have that I love most are my PLOTMONKEY bookmarks. We listed the info on how to get these on the side of this website but as of today I’ve only received 4 SASE’s asking for them (don’t worry, they’re coming! I’m waiting for Julie’s bookmarks and then I’ll send!)
Why am I responsible for mailing out the bookmarks? Because I’m the promo slut!!!!
How do you get a plotmonkey bookmark as well as a bookmark from each of the monkeys personal stash?

One stamp is fine! One regular legal size envelope is perfect. NOT the short kind you can fit a check into but the longer kind. And no need to send one of those huge envelopes that would fit an entire manuscript.

My favorite goodies from authors would have to be….
sticky note pads
I love coasters, key rings, I have one of Janelles potholders that Carly sent me years ago. I still use it.
Those things that help open a jar lid are nice
Of course I love pens, bookmarks, book thongs are cool too.
Here is one Carly how about have the M&M people make you up some boxes of pink and red M&Ms .

I’m not picky. Love bookmarks, any type of calendar (like those small ones the size of a deck of cards), little notepads, pens (cuz I’m always looking for a pen!) Whatever.

I am such a PLOTMONKEY geek! I am one of the four who have requested PLOTMONKEY stuff. I love sticky pads (I can NEVER have enough!), pens, the jar opener thing would be fun, sticky notes, sticky notes, sticky notes…did I mention sticky notes? I love pens, pens, pens (did I mention pens, too…they seem to disappear in my house). Love M and Ms, too (I think Gigi mentioned that). We’d also love it if you came to the West Coast (then, you can see I am not scary at all). Mmmm…how about book thongs (I am still CURIOUS about that!). :razz: Love you guys, I just got some of the ‘old’ anthologies of your writings (I think one of them is “I love Bad Boys”, which my husband keeps teasing me about since he is such a NERD! and one of them is a Christmas one). They will keep me going until the end of July!:thankyou::thumbsup:

I really think the bookmark mention is lost b/c people just come and see the daily blog, which is why I put it here today. We really want to spread the word about the plotmonkeys, so I’m going to get these out to some conferences too.

Well I just recently got my goodies I requested from Carly. I :love2: everything she gave me. I love Pink:wink:.
My favorite things to get are: Pens, Sticky Pads, Magnets, Bookmarks, and what ever else they send. It’s always fun to open a goodie package

I think my 2 favs would have to be pens and bookmarks because that is what I use the most and I can’t seem to keep a bookmark very long without losing it. I also love, love, love coasters. Since I spend way too much time at my desk working on my store or writing, I definitely need coasters for all that Diet Dr. Pepper I drink! LOL
I love those little freebies so much, I am the one you will see in atlanta carrying around the big bag. LOL

Funny that your blog was about promo stuff, I just sent my SASE to you for Plot Monkey stuff Saturday! I love it all. So far my favorite has been this water proof container to keep money and keys in while i’m at the beach or pool!! That really came in handy today! Oh and the thank you tin of those tiny heart candies with the saying on them!!!!

Having worked in exactly this field I can’t even begin to tell you the things that are out there. I mostly dealt with the artwork and research for the orders though. As far as receiving things from my favorite authors, I love the pens, sticky notes, and my favorite item that I got from an author was an insulated travel mug for my coffee. It is a beautiful cobalt blue color with her name and a little saying in white on it. I still use it.
I also won a contest a few years ago from Suzanne Brockmann and won an awesome hooded sweatshirt with the Navy Seals emblem on the chest. I love that too.
There are so many things out there that I am sure anyone would love to receive. I guess the thing is when you are getting something from one of your favorite authors it doesn’t really matter too much what it is. :smile:

Hi, I’m new to the PlotMonkeys. How cute is this?! Now if I could figure out how to use the little pictures… Okay, freebies – I love them all! My favorites would be bookmarks (I’m a librarian – bending the pages is a big no-no!), book thongs, pens, sticky notes, notepads, and keychains. I collect Christmas tree ornmanents whenever I travel or am involved in a special project. Some tourist places have no ornaments for purchase, so I often turn keychains into tree ornaments by removing the chain and adding a ribbon. How cool to have a fave author hanging out for the holidays?! : )
