However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Have fun with the guessing! I’ll come back here tomorrow morning…later for those Monday morning readers and tell everyone who is who. My dad just left. We all went to church together and then I made a yummy brunch/breakfast of eggs benedict, Italian-style breakfast potatoes, homemade blueberry muffins and fresh fruit. It was delish! (c)

Hope you all had a wonderful father’s day with your dad’s and DH. I didn’t get to see mine this year but spoke to him on the phone and sent them (dad and mom) to dinner today (or whenever they choose)to one of their favorite places.
Julie, anytime you feel the need to make that breakfast/brunch and invite a few people just let me know…lol…I’ll bring the mimosa.

I’m not good on guessing so will wait for the answer! Those are some good looking Dad’s. My Dad passed away in 1980 but I have good memories. After my oldest daughter was born he become Pa when she was learning to talk & that is how we all thought of him. The name just stuck! (l) My daughters both thought Pa was the best. To bad he didn’t get see them grow up & enjoy the great granchildren.
Julie, your brunch made me hungry, sounds great. What are Italian style breakfast potatoes?

Italian style…I cook the potatoes in olive oil, then add onions, green pepper, garlic, salt, pepper and cayenne or crushed red pepper flakes. Spicy and yummy!
I think Wednesday’s blog might be on cooking. I guess it depends on how my first Chicken Marsala turns out tonight!
