Hi, all. I wanted to say hi and apologize for not being online all week. Why not? TEETH problems. Double root canal. More pain. Back to the dentist. More pain killers and stronger antibiotics. So I just wanted you all to know I didn’t forget about you! ;( CARLY

Dear Lord….I don’t understand how women that body build feel sexy. Honestly, they look like men. No offense to any readers that body build. But I just can’t see taking it to that extreme. A nicely sculpted body is one thing, but to be ripped like that is outrageous to me. Men are always talking about how intimidating approaching some women can be….I can only imagine what happens when men see someone that looks like they can kick his ass. LOL!!!

Hope that you feel better soon Carly, I hate dentists and any kind of pain to do with teeth is horrible…….in my opinion it is the worst kind.

Hi Linda — Yep, I do have NAUGHTY if that’s the one you’d like. Just so you know, though, it contains 2 stories that are REPRINTS from my earlier Harlequin Temptation books, TEMPTED & SEDUCED. Some readers have gotten confused and thought they were brand new stories, so I just wanted you to know just in case it made a difference

I don’t know why any woman would want to put on so much muscle mass. I like to be tight and toned ,but we weren’t built to look like that.
When i used to go to a gym years ago the trainer I had said it would be easy for me to get into competion because of my body type. I have always been muscular. Which I don’t really care for. I had boys in high school tease me that I should be on the football team just because of my shoulders and arms.
Carly, honey you take care. If the pain doesn’t go away soon you get the guy that did the root canal to send you for a Cat scan. I had a root canal and I was is so much pain for nearly a year I lost down to 104 pounds (It hurt to much to eat). Finally the infection sweeled out the top of my gum and the dentist lanced me many times to get rid of the infection on top of a year of heavy duty antibiotics. I still had some pain but I could eat again.4 years later I read and article in a magazine while my car was being serrviced. There was and article about tooth pain and the article said it might be a cyst on the sinus. I went home and made an appointment to see the Ear Nose Throat doctor. He ordered a CAT scan and I had a big cyst on my sinus just above the tooth that had been giving me trouble. The doctor removed the cyst and in about 6 months all my pain was gone. (It took a long while to finally heal).

As far as the funny, I am stepping away from the weights lol. Not that I’m buffed up mind you, but nothing that makes my muscles that sore could be anything but evil lol. Now to prove treadmills cause cancer and that chocolate is the cure lol. :)

Julie I also saw that one of your new books has my name in it but spelled Rachel. Is that what you meant by the Rachel/Rachael thing? I would still read it even though it has my name! I love your writing! You know, I didnt realize it was you I was talking to in the posts yesterday. I guess I didnt register that Julie was Julie Leto!! I would have acted all giddy and stupid because I loved Dirty Little Secrets so much and I was actually talking to the author!!

Um…after I write it? LOL! Thanks, Rachael, for the enthusiasm. It’ll help me when I get started on Talk Dirty to Me, probably next month. The book isn’t contracted yet and I assume it won’t be until Pocket finds out how Dirty Little Lies sells. So….if anyone wants to make sure that Talk Dirty to Me gets published, you have to buy Dirty Little Lies when it comes out in September AND tell all your friends to do the same!

Lots of different authors! I’m not one to stick with just a few authors…in fact, I’m such a slow reader that it’s hard for me to keep up with anyone’s series. Except for Julie Kenner. I do tend to keep up with her books because she writes such a fast-paced book. I just picked up CALIFORNIA DEMON yesterday…I loved Carpe Demon and I’ve never been disappointed by Julie’s books. I loved THE MANOLO MATRIX, which was just out a month ago, and THE GIVENCHY CODE, which was out last year. I love the Nora Robert’s JD Robb books, but haven’t caught up on the whole series. I love, of course, all the Plotmonkeys books and the books of our mystery guest blogger, who will be here tomorrow! I’m the hugest JK Rowling fan ever and have read all the Harry Potter books at least twice. They’re my comfort reads.

And the after!! I pity her, but she “done” it to herself. I think it’s good to have these pictures in circulation before other youngsters get involved in such a crazy way to treat their bodies.
Carly, my sympathies. Root canals can be dreadful. The first one I ever had was a disaster. My regular dentist at the time did it. I first felt the awful pain on a long weekend, our Victoria Day, (2 weeks ago) but this was almost 20 years ago. It would and would and would not heal until the dentist finally sent me to a specialist. And even then it took another couple of months. The whole procedure took almost exactly 6 months. And since he didn’t want to work on the other side at the same time, that problem also developed into root canal. Luckily, that one was a breeze. So I know what kind of pain you can have. Hope you soon feel a lot better. It really is one of the worst pains. (*)
