In continued celebration of the release of my book, NEW ORLEANS NIGHTS, I’m giving away a delicious box of assorted flavored pralines! If you’ve never had a praline…ooooh, what you are missing.
Butter, sugar, pecans and assorted other yummies like chocolate or peanut butter. I love them! (If anyone has a nut allergy…I can send you pecan-less pralines. I’m sure they’re yummy, too.) I’ll also offer a signed copy of New Orleans Nights as well as a surprise second book!
I also love supporting a New Orleans business that is trying to continue to make a go of things–Loretta’s Pralines. Their French Quarter location is still closed, but they are working out of their warehouse, which is still in NOLA. If you don’t win, you might want to do some shopping!
So leave your comments and win a prize!
The winner will be chosen by a (oh, what is that disclaimer…) you know, someone in my family who has no vested interest in who wins or not. To be posted on Sunday! Good luck!

By all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

Oh yummy! Now that’s a tempting treat :)
Julie, I cannot wait to get your book – I don’t believe I read them when they were originally released
I haven’t been to the bs for almost 2 weeks (except to work my p/t job) so I’m chomping at the bit. Can you share any memories you have from when you wrote the stories?

Both the pralines and the book sound yummy. I’m so glad to see that you are bringing attention to NO. Books set in that city have always been favorites of mine. Hope we get to read lots more of them in the future.

Those pralines look yummy. I love pralines! My husband has family in Louisiana so we visit often. He was raised in Slidell, LA. I think it is great that you are supporting a business in New Orleans by purchasing their products. Hubby and I try to do the same. Every purchase, no matter how small, helps the local economy. The book sounds great too. Thanks for a cool contest. I just love seeing what you ladies come up with.

A chance for a book and treats too, I don’t think I’ve been that good…but please don’t hold that against me if I win. (wink, wink)

I’d love to win a copy of New Orleans Nights. The Pecan pralines would just be the best thing to top it off with. I live in pecan tree central. As I look out my window I see 2 BIG Orchards of Pecan trees at leat 100 trees in each orchard.

I’ve always loved stories set in New Orleans. Cajun men who cajole naughty words in my ear are a great turn on!
Comment
I agree with Patti F, something about those cajun men with their speech/accents.
What could be better than winning chocolate and books? Nothing in my book – PUN intended.
Comment
You can go wrong with such a nice treat and some books.

(*) Count me in for a chance to win some books. And I always like to have a sweet treat!
